Oklahoma Gas & Electric (OG&E) contracted ECA for an upgrade of the coal-fired boilers at their Muskogee Plant in Fort Gibson, OK as part of an overall generation emissions reduction plan. The Owner endorsed ECA with the prime contractor because of our consistent quality, schedule, and overall value-performance on other projects for their fleet. The scope of work included upgrade of the natural gas service and fuel yard instrumentation, and power & controls work associated with the boiler conversions. Major upgrade of the DCS was part of the project. The prime contractor was TEiC, a Babcock Power Company.
