ECA has demonstrated its abilities on past data centers, but none on nearly the scale as this new facility for Meta in Kansas City, MO. Working as part of a team of 3 installation and 1 management/procurement electrical contractors, ECA’s scope concentrates on the site power generation and distribution system, working with equipment from 35kV to 120-volts. As of July, 2023, ECA has approximately 100 electricians on site, contributing to Meta’s planned construction of a 1-million SF data center costing over $800M.
